Hey hey and happy Friday!
I will be making smiles sparkle from 7-4, decorating pumpkins with my coworkers until 5 and then spending the evening with my two precious loves!
Here are some of my favorites from this week.
Here are some of my favorites from this week.
One-
Our Monday mornings at the park are always my favorite. I love going in at 11, so I can spend the morning with my sweetie. I also love those heart leggings on her! They were one of her Christmas presents, but she is outgrowing things so quickly, I had to wash them and let her use them early.
Two-
Our new jogging stroller is my FAVORITE. It was such a good deal you guys, only $77 on Amazon. You can find it here, if you're in the market for a new stroller, or know someone having a baby. I wish I had purchased it sooner. I can't believe the quality for how inexpensive it was. Ella and I are going to be running together in no time!
I also had to share this pic because Michael said "people are going to think we live in the arctic circle the way you have her bundled up." And I laughed so hard. It was sunny, but still a little cool outside.
Three-
Ella is obsessed with carbs right now. She used to be super easy and would eat any veggies I put in front of her. Well now, she is picky and will only eat pasta and protein. I found this pasta at the grocery store that is made with veggies and is high in fiber! I am so glad I found it, because this girl cannot be eating pasta everyday for lunch.
I was also able to get her to eat 2 servings of pureed green beans using her reusable squeeze pouch. And that is a win my friends!
You can purchase the reusable make-your-own squeeze pouches here.
As you can see, she was pretty happy about her meal.
Four-
Michael can get this girl giggling like nobody else. She loves her Dad! These two together are always my favorite!
Five-
I want to start focusing on myself more, and taking care of my body. That starts with the biggest organ of all, my skin! I have been using this organic facial toner and moisturizer by Christina Moss. I really love these products, but just need to be more consistent about using them.
They are organic, hand crafted and made of ingredients you can actually pronounce!
I have had natural dark circles since I was a kid, and now with how tired I am, they are definitely getting worse. It's probably one of the things I am most self conscious about. I hate when people how tired I look, because I know and I am embarrassed. This eye cream is something I have been trying and when I am consistent about using it, I do notice a difference.
Six-
Our neighbors were having some bathroom renovations done Tuesday and Wednesday, right above Ella's room! It was super loud! So on Wednesday, Ella went to her Grandma's house for the day, and she loved it! She loves a change of scenery and loved climbing on their stairs. Her newest skill!
Seven-
We went shopping to buy some things for Ella's party on Sunday! Water, juice, soda, chips, applesauce, candy etc. Getting almost everything purchased at Costco was such a relief for me.
That is it for our favorites this week. I am so looking forward to the weekend. I am going to a coworkers wedding on Saturday and on Sunday we have Ella's first birthday party! I can't even believe it. Time is flying... Check back next week to see the pics from Ella's party. We are keeping it super simple this year, as I haven't had time to go ALL OUT. But it will still be cute.
Happy Friday and weekend! :)
You have a fun weekend planned! Hope it's a good one!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great weekend, lots of celebrating! xox

ReplyDeleteMonday mornings are my favorite! :) Her party was fun but I totally forgot to take pictures... blogger FAIL!

She no longer will eat that pasta. She goes through weird phases with food.. But I tried it, and it's yummy :)
DeleteSounds like that pasta is something I should be adding to my own personal shopping list because I am a CARB-o-HOLIC! ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read about Ella's FIRST Birthday! Have you ever had Miss. Ella's hair cut? I cannot believe how long & thick her hair is (I might be a tad jealous)!
Her first birthday was super fun, but exhausting! Sort of glad it is over and sad I didn't take more pictures. We have never cut her hair. She was born with a head full! Her Dad has thick, fast-growing hair, so I think she gets it from him :)
DeleteOh your little one is so precious! What a fun week full of faves :)
