Hi guys, happy Friday. I have had a busy week and didn't document a ton this week, but here are a few favorites I did capture from the week.
One-
Monday morning Ella had some sensory bin fun with the green rainbow rice I made. Most of the little trinkets you see are from Dollar Tree. Sensory bins are cheap, easy and so so good for kids sensorial exploration. We added some essential oil to our rice so it even smells good! I am trying to do mostly St Patrick's Day themed activities from now until the 17th. After that, we'll transition to Easter and then Spring. I love a good theme!
Two-
We also made St Patrick's Day cupcakes this week. Ella woke up from her nap on Tuesday ready to bake! She helped me from beginning to end with these cupcakes! (They came from a box... Thanks Pillsbury!)
Taste testing was her favorite part... ;)
Added sprinkles to the batter was her idea of course!
You can't tell, but she's very proud of her pouring work. I was impressed too!
Three-
We ordered Mia's crib this week. Since Ella didn't do so well in her toddler bed, we decided to let her keep her crib until she's ready. So we bought another. Luckily both of the cribs convert to toddler beds as the girl's get older... so we will get plenty of use of both.
Four-
We ordered this for the girls and we can't wait to get it. It's going to be so cozy for their play area! The downside is they are currently taking 10-12 weeks to ship!!!
Five-
Ella has been extra cuddly lately, and that is my total favorite.
Even giving her Dadda some love.
Six-
Ella has been reading up a storm lately, and it's just so cute.
I was laughing so hard that she placed her bunny in her chair, with one of Mia's onesies on top and a blender with an orange... Hahaha! So random and cute.
Seven-
I had my glucose test on Tuesday and got the results back that I am not diabetic nor am I anemic... so that's all great news! Baby Mia is growing healthy and strong.
That's all for favorites this week. We'll be back on Monday with a recap of our weekend! :)

Very impressed with Ella's pouring skills-she did better than I ever seem to do.
ReplyDeleteShe practices her pouring skills often! :)
DeleteFun week! Glad Mia is growing healthy and your pregnancy is progressing well! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marielle, you too! :)
DeleteThose cupcakes look delicious! Yay for not being anemic or diabetic. I'm sure that was a relief to have that behind you.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a relief!! I never want there to be any complications and I feel so fortunate that I have had healthy pregnancies!
DeleteShe did awesome with her pouring cupcakes. I usually make a mess. I so want a nugget for my kids. They ruin all our other furniture.
ReplyDeleteOur sofa is FILTHY Adrienne hahahaha. I told Michael we 100% need to replace but we're going to wait until Mia is grown. We know there will be spit up and milk spills. Hopefully in a couple years we can get a nice new sectional. The nugget will be really nice for the play area, but kids always end up on furniture we don't want them on, don't they? LOL!
DeleteYay for cupcakes! Ella did so good making them and my son loves to taste test too. It's the best part of baking right? So glad your are not anemic and diabetic. There's so much to worry about being pregnant and the last thing you need is more things to stress about. So kudos mama! Enjoy the snuggles and cuddles. Aren't they the best?
